چکیده
The maintenance of the fluid balance surgical patients is one most important responsibilities modern team and proper replacement blood perhaps phases this Although surgeons anaesthesiologists well appreciate fact, they are often faced with problem accurately estimating loss in order to avoid under-replacement or over-replacement, both which can have adverse effects compromised patients. A total number 50 subjects, males females age group 15-50 years who reported our centre for major procedures under maxillofacial surgery were included study. study was conducted between September 2012 November 2014. : intraoperative various oral surgeries ranged from 63.6 – 1343 ml. 15 had 101-200 ml, 5 301-500 ml 12 >500 loss. average 343.3 ± 256.3 necessity depends on amount peri-operatively. In optimal effects, must be administered as it being lost amounts. Gravimetric method used estimation gravimetric offers a simple practical means during surgery. It will also help having an analytical idea about mean reduction haemoglobin percentage helpful evaluating postoperative transfusion. Therefore there very few instances where warranted majority cases that operated.

Dog 1 developed ventricular asystole and apnoea thus followed a cardiac death. In the remaining 5 dogs apnoea preceded cardiac standstill. The blood gas values in all 6 animals made it unlikely that failure of the respiratory centre occurred because of primary pulmonary pathology. In animals 5, 8 and 9, cardiac output and related haemodynamic data suggest that apnoea resulted from inadequate bl...

Background Bleeding is one of the most common complications of craniosynostosis surgery, which its appropriate management is associated with better post-operative outcomes. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the visual estimated blood loss in intraoperative management of infants with craniosynostosis surgery. Abstract Introduction Piezoelectric device or piezosurgery device was originally developed for the atraumatic cutting of bone by way of ultrasonic vibrations and as an alternative to the mechanical and electrical instruments that are used in conventional oral surgery. Over the past two decades, an increasing amount of literature has shown that piezoelectric devices are innovative tools and that...

by an electrode while an indi erent electrode (antenna) was attached to the patient. The indif ferent electrode allowed for the removal of the current entering the patient and channeled the electricity back into the electrosurgical unit. This prevented the buildup of static electricity so that electrical shocks were not caused to the patient or the operator. This recycling of current allowed th...
